A rigid polyurethane foam system is a pair of liquid components that react on mixing and cure into a hard, closed-cell foam. As a polyurethane system house in Bursa, Türkiye, JiTPOL formulates the polyol side: component A is a JiTPOL polyol blend made from high-functionality polyols, catalysts and stabilisers, and component B is a high-functionality polymeric MDI isocyanate. Most of our rigid systems are built for thermal insulation. They form the insulating core of cold-room and sandwich panels, refrigerated truck bodies, refrigerators and industrial coolers, solar collectors and hot-water tanks, and are also used for geothermal pipe insulation. A second group is poured into moulds to make decorative rigid parts.
Our cold-room panel systems were developed first for cold-room panels and refrigerated truck-body panels, and are also used for industrial coolers and refrigerators; one version is flame-retardant, classified B1 in laboratory fire testing. The refrigerator systems work the other way round: they are designed around refrigerators and industrial coolers and are also used for panels. Both groups cover insulation thicknesses from 4 to 20 cm, bond well to the facing surfaces and fill the cavity evenly, without voids. Separate systems are made for block pouring of truck-body boxes and for solar collectors and hot-water tanks. On the decorative side, our systems produce cornices, interior and exterior window surrounds, columns, corbels, rosettes, mirror frames, furniture parts, air-conditioner covers and wood-look pieces.
Choosing a rigid system starts from your product and your line, not from a catalogue. For panels we need the panel thickness, the facing materials, whether the line is continuous or discontinuous, and any fire class the panel must reach. For appliances and truck bodies, the cavity shape and the way the foam is injected or poured decide the choice. The blowing agent has to suit your plant's equipment. Decorative parts depend on surface quality, how finely the mould detail must be copied, and dimensional stability. With that information we adapt a custom polyurethane formulation to your process, drawing on more than 700 existing formulations. For suitable projects, our technical team can also visit your line and run production trials with you.
Every rigid system has two components. Component A is the JiTPOL polyol blend, formulated from high-functionality polyols, catalysts and stabilisers and adapted to your process and product. Component B is a high-functionality polymeric MDI isocyanate; the data sheet for your system names the grade to use with it. Insulation systems are packed in 200 kg metal drums and 1000 kg IBC tanks; decorative systems in 50 kg drums or, depending on the system, 200 kg metal drums and 1000 kg IBC tanks. JiTPOL is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
Our rigid systems run on continuous panel lines and discontinuous press lines. They are injected into refrigerator and cooler cavities, block-poured into truck-body boxes, and poured into moulds for cornices and other decorative parts. On-site spray insulation is covered by our spray systems. The insulation systems use ozone-friendly blowing agents from the n-pentane, HFC and HFO families, and none of them contain HCFC-141b.
