Alongside our insulation systems, we make a second group of rigid polyurethane systems for decoration. These systems are poured into moulds and cure into rigid decorative parts: cornices, interior and exterior window surrounds, columns, corbels, rosettes, mirror frames, furniture parts, air-conditioner covers and wood-look pieces. In a moulding workshop, the system is your PU moulding raw material: you mix component A, our polyol blend, with component B, a high-functionality polymeric MDI, and pour the mix into your moulds. Whether you need a polyurethane cornice system or a system for wood-look polyurethane parts, we formulate it ourselves in Bursa, Türkiye.
Three properties matter for decorative parts. Surface quality affects how much work a part needs after demoulding before it is finished. Mould detail matters because cornice profiles, rosettes and corbels carry fine ornament, and the mix has to copy the mould down to its finest lines, including any grain texture on wood-look pieces. Dimensional stability matters because cornices and window surrounds are fitted end to end on site and furniture parts are assembled with other components, so each part has to keep its shape and size. The release agent and the finish play a part too. We make our own mould release agents in-house, both water-based and solvent-based, and our auxiliary range includes in-mould and direct polyurethane paints, so you can source the system, the release agent and the paint from one supplier.
We match the system to your parts and your moulds. The parts you make and their size, the finest detail they carry, what your moulds are made of, how you pour, whether the parts go indoors or outdoors, and how you finish them all shape the choice. From there, we take one of our more than 700 existing formulations as the starting point and adapt it to your line and your parts. For suitable projects, our technical team can also visit your workshop and run production trials with you.
Every system has two components. Component A is the JiTPOL polyol blend of high-functionality polyols, catalysts and stabilisers, adapted to your parts and your process. Component B is a high-functionality polymeric MDI; the data sheet for your system names the grade to use. Decorative systems are packed in 50 kg drums or, depending on the system, in 200 kg metal drums and 1000 kg IBC tanks. You can ask for mould release agents and polyurethane paints from our auxiliary range in the same quote request. We export to more than 30 countries, from Syria and Iraq to the Gulf and Central Asia.
