Flexible polyurethane produces what most people call foam: an open-cell material that gives under load and recovers its shape when the load is removed. This foam is made by one of two routes. Low-density foams are generally made as slabstock, or block foam, while higher-density parts are moulded one by one. JiTPOL supplies systems for both. For block foam production, we supply slabstock foam systems, including TDI-based ones. For moulded parts, we supply cold-cure systems: each is a two-component, water-blown system in which a JiTPOL polyol blend reacts with a JITIZO isocyanate, a prepolymer based on monomeric MDI. As a polyurethane system house in Bursa, Türkiye, we supply the two components as one matched system, ready to use.
Our cold-cure foam systems produce moulded foam for car seats and other motor-vehicle seats, for furniture, office and conference seating and chairs, and for display mannequins and medical products. They suit this work because they combine low free-rise density, an adjustable hardness range and a smooth surface skin on the moulded part, which gives you a part-weight advantage. The same polyol blend, paired with different JITIZO prepolymers, gives a standard, soft or medium-soft foam, so one blend can cover more than one feel. Where flame retardancy is required, a separate flame-retardant cold-cure formulation is available, and it performs well in demanding moulds and processes.
Choosing a system starts with the part: the feel you are aiming for, the part weight you are working to, the surface finish you need, and whether a flame-retardancy requirement applies. Then comes the line: your moulds, whether open-pour or automotive pour-in-place, your dispensing equipment, the mould release agent you use and your cycle. We make our own mould release agents in-house, water-based and solvent-based, so for moulded foam you can source the release agent and the system from one supplier. Drawing on more than 700 existing formulations, we adapt the system to your parts and your line. For suitable projects, our technical team can visit your line and run production trials with you.
Each cold-cure system comes as two matched components: the JiTPOL polyol blend, with polyol, catalyst, stabiliser and special additives already combined, and the matched JITIZO isocyanate, a prepolymer based on monomeric MDI. Both come in 200 kg metal drums, ready to use, so you do not have to prepare your own blend from separate raw materials. For moulded and slabstock systems alike, we prepare the quote around your application and your monthly quantity.
