Privacy & Data Protection Notice

JiTPOL Poliüretan Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“JiTPOL”, “we”) values your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and your rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and applicable data protection regulations including GDPR for visitors from the European Union.

2. What we collect

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide through the quote-request form, the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) request, or by emailing us directly. This includes:

• Full name
• Company name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Country
• Project details, product interest, and quantities you describe

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data to anyone. We use Google Analytics for anonymous, aggregated visitor statistics (see section 7).

3. Why we collect it

• To respond to your quote request, TDS request, or general inquiry
• To send you the technical documentation you requested
• To follow up on commercial discussions you initiated
• To comply with our legal obligations under Turkish commercial and tax law

4. How long we keep it

Inquiry data is retained for as long as the commercial relationship is active and for the legal retention periods required by Turkish law thereafter (typically up to 10 years for accounting records). You may request deletion at any time, subject to those legal retention periods.

5. Who processes it

Quote-request emails are delivered through EmailJS, our email-routing provider. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics are processed by Google Analytics (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.). Server logs may be processed by our hosting provider. We do not transfer your data to third parties for marketing.

6. Your rights under KVKK (Article 11)

You have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed
• Request information about how it is being processed
• Learn the purpose and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
• Know any third parties to whom data has been transferred
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Request deletion or destruction of the data
• Object to results arising from automated analysis
• Claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing

7. Cookies & analytics

The site uses localStorage to remember your language (EN/TR) and theme preference on your own device. That information is not transmitted to us.

The site also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visitor behaviour, such as pages viewed, session duration, approximate location at country or city level, and device type. Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers. This data is processed in anonymised, aggregated form and is not used to personally identify you. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

8. Changes to this notice

If we update this notice, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page.
